Dan is an award-winning director and screenwriter living and working in the UK. His work has won three BAFTA awards, and a further six BAFTA and EMMY nominations.
Recent work includes single film The Queen and I adapted from the novel by Sue Townsend for Sky1, single film Eric, Ernie and Me (BBC 4), BBC comedy pilot The Other One starring Rebecca Front, and The Collection (Lookout Point/Amazon).
Past comedy credits include Inside No.9, The Artist, (Sky Urban Myth starring Rupert Grint and Iwan Rheon), Siblings, Pramface and Ideal.
Previous drama credits include his Bafta-winning Case Histories ‘When Will There Be Good News’ for BBC1 starring Jason Isaacs, ‘Hattie’ starring Ruth Jones (still BBC4’s highest rating drama), Consuming Passion starring Olivia Colman, Emilia Fox and Jodie Whittaker, Lost In Austen, and award-winning ITV drama The Ice Cream Girls starring Martin Compston, Lorraine Burroughs and Jodhi May.
